Installation & Safety Tips:

Surface Preparation:

  1. Ensure that the surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and other contaminants.
  2. Use a wire brush or abrasive pad to clean the surfaces if necessary.

Application:

  1. Cut the nozzle of the cartridge to the desired bead size.
  2. Insert the cartridge into a suitable caulking gun.
  3. Apply the sealant evenly along the joint or penetration, ensuring complete coverage.
  4. Tool the sealant within 10 minutes of application to achieve a smooth finish.

Curing:

  1. Allow the sealant to cure for at least 24 hours before exposing it to fire or other extreme conditions.
  2. The curing time may vary depending on the ambient temperature and humidity.

Safety Precautions:

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and eye protection, during application.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area.
